FDA approved urethane pads are cast from a high-quality material for the most extreme conditions. Capable of repeated impacts FDA approved urethane pads will absorb the impact, reduced vibrations and return to its original size even after years of abuse. Commonly used food processing factories and kitchen equipment FDA approved urethane pads may be molded or water jet cut into any profile needed for the application.

At Plan Tech we have years of experience incorporating metal detectable additives and casting FDA approved urethane pads in any durometer from extra soft to extra hard. For added strength, a metal plate may be bonded to the urethane pad and then cut into any profile needed. FDA approved urethane pads are chemical resistant and have great abrasion resistance. Urethane will also remain flexible in any temperature and is non-marking while being lightweight compared to similar materials. FDA urethane pads have excellent electrical isolation properties. Plan Tech can produce FDA urethane approved pads up to 48” by 48” and up to two inches thick. Custom urethane pads are also available. From prototype parts to high volume Plan Tech will deliver high-quality parts and work with you on every detail. We also can reverse engineer existing FDA approved urethane sheets to reproduce OEM specs and profiles.

Machining cast urethane parts requires specialized equipment and training. Here at Plan Tech we make all of our own custom molds in-house for speed, accuracy and precision. We control the entire process from design to manufacture. Mold making is at the very core of what we do. Our machine shop includes CNC Lathes, Mills and Grinders for machining cast urethane parts. We also have manual mills as well as a sheet metal and welding area. We have a Flow Water jet with 48×96 inch sheet capabilities and can cut a list of materials like Polyurethane, Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Carbon fiber, and most plastics.
