Plan Tech, Inc. selected to produce thousands of urethane roller bumpers

LOUDON, NH., July 16, 2018 —Plan Tech, Inc. selected to produce thousands of urethane roller bumpers for a large USA crane manufacturer. Typical construction of urethane crane Bumpers is custom cast molded bumper body with reinforcing metal plate mechanically bonded to a mounting plate with 4 bolt holes. Other configurations of urethane crane roller bumpers are cast from high-performance urethane that is cylindrically shaped with a washer and bolt molded on one end for a simple OEM bolt-on application. Custom urethane crane bumpers can also have a safety cable hook molded into the body.

Urethane also has a longer service life than most conventional materials. Plan Tech uses only high-quality material from world leaders in polyurethane material. Our urethane will compress and rapidly return to their original shape for years to come. For these urethane crane rollers and bumpers, we decided it would be best to have a molded piece to lower the cost of the finished product. Making molds yield parts to almost print with very little secondary process saving our customer money and lowering the lead time on repeat sales. Urethane crane bumpers are available in all durometers and sizes. A variety of additives can be added to enhance wear properties or abrasion resistance. Polyurethane crane rollers can be molded with any added thru hole for bolt-on applications or any other configurations as well. We can provide any hardness needed for your application or requirements. Custom urethane sizes are no problem for us here at Plan Tech.
