At Plan Tech we have a unique way to make precision cast polyurethane sheeting using rotational force for the most demanding tolerances. Being able to make precision cast polyurethane sheeting without any secondary process is a great way to create an inexpensive way to make replacement OEM parts with a higher level of quality. Precision cast polyurethane sheeting will be 20’’ by 70’’ long with a tolerance of +/-.010 on any sheet thickness up to ½’’.
We also have the ability to water jet the finished precision cast polyurethane sheeting that will often time’s with just one sheet yield 1000’s of parts creating an inexpensive way to make replacement OEM parts. Urethane has unique ability to absorb an impact and return to its original shape even after years of repeated abuse while resisting most chemicals exposed to the parts. Polyurethane is also non-marking, non-conducting and has excellent tensile strength, compression strength, impact resistance, tear strength and elastic memory properties.
Precision cast polyurethane sheeting is a high-performance material suitable for just about every demanding application where traditional rubbers were once installed. Our engineering department can turn your idea, sketch, drawing or CAD file into custom urethane parts. We will reverse engineer to recreate any urethane part for production or one-off urethane pieces. The engineering department uses SolidWorks and our machine shop uses CamWorks for 3 axis milling. Our equipment includes CNC mills, lathes, polyurethane grinders as well as a state of the art urethane waterjet cutting machine. Secondary equipment includes sheet metal, welding, grinding, automated cutoff, broaching and more.
