LOUDON, NH., April 1, 2019 —Plan Tech, Inc. selected to produce thousands of FDA approved ground urethane rollers. Ground rollers are found in many different applications but are mainly used as drive wheels to move merchandise or help move an object along. These special rollers have a required surface finish. Custom FDA approved ground urethane rollers are often produced from an oversized piece of urethane and then finish ground to a tight tolerance of +/-.005’’ on most standard ground rollers. These custom FDA approved ground urethane rollers hold a tight tolerance on all the molded surfaces.

FDA approved ground urethane rollers are available in all types special profiles, durometers and sizes. Most FDA approved ground urethane rollers have a low tooling start-up cost that is capable of yielding high production runs of parts.
