V-Groove Urethane Wheels can be manufactured from various materials for your application and may be machined to almost any shape to match rolling surfaces. For example on tracks, angle-iron, and any other riding surface. We can duplicate your existing v-groove urethane wheels or we can reinvent the wheel for your custom v-groove urethane wheels specification. Polyurethane functions well in standard temperatures ranging from -20°F to +170°F ideal for most applications. With a full line of post-secondary operations, we can finish and assemble your v-groove urethane wheels to meet tight tolerance specifications.
Most custom v-groove urethane wheels are molded that will yield parts with little to no secondary operations for the finished part often times costing less than OEM replacement rubbers while exceeding the physical properties of the original parts. A core may also be added to the design to help add strength to the part and make it capable of being bolted into place. We also have an in-house engineering team ready to take your sketch and ideas and help design and create new parts. Our engineering department can calculate the speed and load of the application and also determine the correct size of the wheel and coating ensuring replacement parts will outperform the expected lifespan of tradition wheels. Plan Tech’s cast v-groove urethane wheels do well in high abrasion applications and will resist wear. We can duplicate your existing V-Groove urethane wheels. Castings or stampings, weldments or fabricated cores are no problem for us! Common sizes. Diameters from ½” to 6″. Face widths from ½” to 6″. All colors and durometers with a variety of additives can be added to enhance wear properties, add lubricity, UV stabilized, flame retardant, or to reduce static build up. A metal detectable additive can also be added for FDA requirements.
