Urethane bearing wheels are extremely common in shipping centers, conveyor systems and assembly lines. At Plan Tech for the last 30 years, we have specialized in coating custom urethane bearing wheels both low and high volume. Tight tolerances are no problem for our state of the art machine shop. Typically supplied in a 95A durometer coating the bearing will be media blasted and sprayed with a chemical bonding adhesive resulting in a bond as strong as the material. We can also reverse engineer your existing urethane bearing wheels to match OEM specs often times for less than OEM replacements!
On average urethane will outperform rubber 3 to 1 making urethane an ideal choice for industrial urethane bearing wheels. We can incorporate additives such as Armorglide that will increase abrasion resistance and add lubricity to keep products from sticking. An Anti-static additive is also common to reduce any static build up from sliding fraction.
